A Little bit about me

Hello! My name is Kirstin Townsend. I am currently a stay at home mom. I have been married for six and a half years to my wonderful husband. He has been through it all with me. We have worked along side eachother to build up the life we have always wanted for us and our children. So I’m going to walk you through a little bit of how we met and how we got to where we are now so the following blogs make a bit more sense.

I met my husband when I was 19 years old and pregnant with my oldest. Her father had left the day I told him I was pregnant. I was devastated thinking I would be a single mom and me having no idea how to raise a baby. That’s when my husband and I happened to cross paths. I was working as a cashier at the neighborhood grocery store. He came by the store one day and never would we have guessed that day would be the beginning of our forever. From day one he knew I was carrying another man’s child. But he didn’t care. He still wanted to make a relationship with me. Now we have 5 beautiful children between us.

He has supported me through all of my dreams, my accomplishments, my failures and never once did he give up on me. He keeps pushing me to be my best self and for that I could never thank him enough. We still have a ways to go before we reach the full life we have envisioned for our family but we are still building towards it. Whether it is big steps or baby steps, progress is progress and will get us there one day!

In the blogs to come I will open up about my past, my failures, my faults, and my greatest accomplishments. I want to be the best version of myself and want my kids to see that no matter what they can do what they set their minds to. My goal from this blog is to help others see that their past doesn’t define who they are or where it takes them. What matters is how you learn from your past and apply it to your future to chase your dreams.
